Clark U International Students Present Annual Gala April 13

Worcester, Mass. - The International Students Association (ISA), a student initiative at Clark University, will showcase a rich variety of cultural entertainment, fashion, and cuisine during the annual International Gala, from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, April 13, in the Daniels Theater, Atwood Hall, Downing Street.

Held every spring, the Gala showcases the diversity of Clark through the food, native dress, dance and other customs of the students' native countries. The event --among Clark's most lively and popular performances--is free and open to the public.

The following countries/regions will be represented at the International Gala this year: Asia, China, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Caribbean, Greece, Hawaii, India, Israel, Italy, Latin America, Middle East, Pakistan, Portugal, West Africa and USA.

The ISA promotes better relations among students of different cultures through a variety of intellectual, informative, and entertaining events encouraging cross-cultural communication on campus and in the Worcester communities.

The Gala stage performances will be followed by an After-Gala Soirée featuring a live band and international cuisine, in Tilton Hall, Higgins University Center.
