Wadsworth of Westborough named director of Clark University’s Master of Science in Information Technology Program
WORCESTER, MA - Dennis G. Wadsworth of Westborough has been named director of Clark University’s Master of Science in Information Technology program. The MSIT program is run through the College of Professional and Continuing Education (COPACE).
In his new role as director, Wadsworth will be responsible for faculty and student recruitment, student advising and curriculum development. He will also teach up to six courses per year both in the U.S. and abroad (Israel and Poland), including a course in information technology for Clark’s Graduate School of Management (GSOM).
Since 1990, Wadsworth has served as the CEO, Online Marketing Manager and eCommerce Development Specialist at EOL WebCreations in Westborough. Prior to that, he was Systems Analyst, Manager of RE Management Systems at Perini Corporation in Framingham. Since 1986, he has served as an adjunct professor in Clark’s GSOM and COPACE and has taught in all areas of computer science and management with specialization in website development/design, graphic design for the Internet, management information systems, organizational management, database management and systems analysis/design.
Wadsworth has served as a member of Clark’s Master of Science and Professional Communication and Master of Science Information Technology Advisory Boards and curriculum committees. He also designed a course, Information Systems Technology and Management, that has since been adopted as a required course for all MSPC/MPA/MSIT graduate students.
He holds numerous trademarks and copyrights for original software products of his own design/creation, plus numerous awards for website design, including best industry website from Remodeling Magazine (2000).
The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) degree at Clark University is designed to develop business leaders with the competency to provide their organization with a competitive advantage through effective information technology management.

Wadsworth received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and his bachelor’s degree from Clark.
