Card Access Guidelines
What access rights do I have?
Every student living in an RLH managed property (house or hall) has card
access rights of some type. During quiet hours (11:00PM-7AM
Sunday-Thursday, 1:00AM to 9AM Friday-Saturday), students have access to their
own Residence Hall only. Guest visitation is welcome, but students are
required to escort their guests during quiet hours
During non-quiet hours, students have access to the following:
- First year students have access to all residence halls except Blackstone
Hall.
- Upper-class students have access to Maywood Street, Dana, Hughes, Johnson,
and Dodd halls.
- Blackstone Hall residents have access to Maywood Street, Dana, Hughes,
Johnson, Dodd, and Blackstone Halls.
- Blackstone residents have access to the Blackstone Hall 4th Floor Patio
between 7AM and 9PM, or as determined appropriate by RLH staff.
What do I do if my card access is incorrect?
If your ID card is not working at all, you should
contact the One Card ID office on the 2nd floor of 22 Downing Street. If
your ID works for some buildings, but is not granting you access as described
above, you should contact the
Office of Residential Life and Housing on the first floor of 22 Downing Street.
The ID
Office hours are found here:
http://www.clarku.edu/offices/id/
The Office of Residential Life and Housing is open 8:30AM-5:00PM M-F.
If you have a problem during non-business hours, temporary ID cards can be
issued at University Police, which is always open.
