UPDATE 4/4/08: Blackstone Hall has been
designated for limited Graduate Housing for the 2008-2009 year.
Current BSH Residents will have the opportunity to remain in their current suite
for the upcoming year. Unlike 906/914 Main Street, Blackstone Hall
contracts do not include the summer months. Students who wish to move in
early or remain in their current Blackstone Hall apartment over the summer will
need to apply for Summer Housing and will be billed at the standard Summer
Housing Rate ($18 single / $16 double per day, $1700 single / $1500 double for
the full summer). For more details about summer housing visit the
Summer Housing Information page.
There are both single
and double spaces located in Blackstone Hall. Graduate students who pursue
this option would live in an apartment with other graduate students. Other
residents in Blackstone Hall will be Junior and Senior undergraduate students. All rooms
in Blackstone Hall are furnished and students will share a living room, bathroom, and
premium kitchen with either 3 or 5 other students. In addition to being a
brand new facility, Blackstone Hall also offers amenities not found in other
residence facilities, such as air-conditioning, wireless internet access,
dishwashers, and premium study and lounge space. For more details and
photos check out the Blackstone Hall Project page located
here, or contact the Office of Residential Life and Housing.

* As of June 28, there are no spaces remaining in Clark Graduate Housing.

Students will be allowed to withdraw their waitlist application and be refunded
their deposit unless a space opens up for them. Once offered a space, the
housing deposit is no longer refundable.
- As a courtesy, there is no additional cost to reside in Graduate Housing
in 906/914 Main Street during the summer
leading into the academic year for which you have signed a housing contract.
This allows graduate students a chance to acclimate to the Worcester Area
before taking on the rigors of their academic pursuit. Students who elect to
move into their housing assignment early and receive a room key to their assignment are financially responsible for
the full semester charge, even if you subsequently withdraw
from Clark University. There is no option to remain in University
Housing after your contract has ended.
- If you receive a monthly stipend during the semester, you
may be able to have your semester rent paid via a "stipend-deduction". This may
be requested in person, through your student account counselor. The
Accounting Office is located at 20 Downing Street, on the 2nd floor.
