Bickman Fitness Center
The Bickman Fitness Center is located off of the Kneller Athletic Center lobby and is set up to fulfill the needs of an active Clark community. It features multiple pieces of cardio equipment that include treadmills, elipticals, ergometers, and exercise bikes on the upper level and a variety of nautilus and free weight equipment on the lower level. The free weight equipment consists of multiple exercise machines, Olympic style benches, and a wide array of dumbbells. This fall, we’ve added 3 new Woodway treadmills, 2 Matrix functional trainers, and new dumbbells.
In an effort to improve the overall operation of the Bickman, including better managing the use during peak hours, we are implementing the following:
• Offering orientation sessions for those interested in learning how to use the equipment
• Allowing the varsity athletes to use the rowing room during certain hours to provide some relief in the fitness center
• Allowing users more time (45 minutes) on the aerobics equipment if they come during off-peak hours. During peak hours, use is limited to 25 minutes.
• Provide a suggestion box for comments
• Offer 1-2 times a semester when anyone interested can come meet and talk with our Bickman Fitness Center Supervisor, Paul Phillips - Meet the Staff

Want the help of a personal trainer??
There are a few students and staff on campus who are certified personal trainers who are available to set up personal training sessions for a discounted price. Sessions usually last about 1 hour and can be scheduled with the student directly. Please contact one of the following people if interested ( more info ):

We encourage cardio machine users to come during Off Peak times to alleviate some of the heavy use during Peak hours.
Machine use limited to 40 minutes during "Off-Peak Time" (7-11am; 1-3pm, 7-8pm and 9-10pm)
Machine use limited to 25 minutes during "Peak Time" (11-1pm, 3-6pm and 8-9pm)
