Reunion 2005-Alumni Weekend
Alumni and friends enjoyed this fun-filled weekend back on the Clark campus. Full coverage of Reunion and Commencement 2005 is featured in the upcoming summer issue of Clarknews. More than 1,300 alumni and friends returned for the great events and activities. Look for Clarknews in your mailbox in late July.

Jackalyne Pfannenstiel '69 new Alumni Elected Trustee
Pfannenstiel, a commissioner for the California Energy Commission, will begin a six-year term on Clark's Board of Trustees on July 1. You can read more about Pfannenstiel and board appointees Korn Thapparansi '69 and David Strassler in the summer issue of Clarknews.

Reunion Giving Challenge helps Clark Fund reach $2.2 million
More than 5,800 alumni contributed to the Clark Fund's $2.2 million overall total for the year. In the Reunion Giving Challenge, the Class of 1955 earned highest percent participation with 49.4 percent, and the Class of 1975 raised the largest class gift with a total of $49,322. Congratulations Alumni Association Award winners!
Nancy Johnson '55, M.A.Ed. '57 received this year's Distinguished Service Award, and Wally Bither '33 received the Special Service Award. These and other Alumni Association Award recipients are profiled in the summer issue of Clarknews.

CougarFest Homecoming 2005-Sept. 23-25
This year, CougarFest Homecoming will be held the same weekend as Family Weekend, giving you more opportunities to meet current Clark students and their families. Alumni Communities Welcome Day, July 28: Regional alumni communities will hold gatherings to welcome alumni from the Class of 2005 and incoming students in the Class of 2009. The cities include: Boston, Hartford, Conn., Holden, Mass., Fitchburg, Mass., Seattle, Philadelphia and Providence, R.I.

Worcester, Aug. 20: First-Year Student Move-In Day: Alumni serve as University ambassadors for the day, welcoming students to Clark.

New York City, Aug. 29: Ross Lombardo '92 will host a reception at his roof-top bar, Rare View, at the Shelburne Hotel.

Boston, September 7-8: Watch the Red Sox take on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Come to Jillian's on Lansdowne Street before each game to celebrate with your fellow alumni.

Worcester, Sept. 23-25: CougarFest Homecoming, a weekend of alumni activities and athletic events on campus.

Worcester, Sept. 24:

  • The Jonas Clark Fellows Dinner will be held at Tuckerman Hall, following a reception at the Worcester Art Museum.
  • The 25th-annual Alumni Hockey Game will be played at Buffone Rink, followed by a reception at Tilton Hall in the Higgins University Center.
  • Alumni and current students host activities, seminars and events at Clark to celebrate diversity.
  • A volunteer reception will be held at the Traina Center for the Arts to recognize all alumni volunteers.
  • Alumni will return to campus for training in alumni volunteer activities.

Boston, Oct. 22: Join the Boston Regional Alumni Community to cheer on the Clark crews at the Head of the Charles regatta.

Worcester, Nov. 7-8: 2nd-Annual Alumni-in-Residence Program: Alumni will be invited back to campus and asked to participate in classes and meet informally with students and student organizations.
