Alumni Admissions Program (AAP)
The Alumni Admissions Program involves alumni volunteers from all parts of the country in the process of encouraging prospective students to consider Clark University. The program, developed as a cooperative effort of the Alumni and Admissions Offices, is run in support of ongoing Admissions and Alumni activities. As an Alumni Admissions representative you would participate in local college fairs, contact local applicants, conduct informal interviews, and attend local Clark alumni and admissions receptions.

Alumni Programs Committee
The Alumni Programs Committee works with various alumni volunteers involved with key Alumni Association programs, including career services, mentoring, the Outstanding Secondary Educator Award, other Alumni Association-related awards, affinity programs and reunion.

Campus School Mentor
This program consists of alumni interested in volunteering their time to participate in a planned program of events and activities with the University Park Campus School in the Clark neighborhood. Events/activities would be career-oriented, academic and social in nature and would allow for one-on-one mentoring along with some group activities.

Career Contacts
Alumni who volunteer as career contacts help Clark to form a career information network. This network is utilized by both current students and alumni. Career contacts provide an opportunity to learn about the rewards and drawbacks of specific careers, work environments, and job training. Alumni can sign up as a career contact by going to our Alumni Online Community at www.clarku.edu/alumnicommunity.

Career Services
There are a number of ways you can assist Clark students and other alumni in the area of Career Services.  As an Alumni Mentor, you would be matched with a current undergraduate student whose background and interests are similar to yours.  You can help inform students about the work world by participating in a career panel and/or seminar.  As a company representative, you can conduct on-campus interviews with qualified students, provide information sessions open to everyone to discuss and educate others about your company as well as make use of Career Services' resume referral service when looking to hire new employees.  Internships are needed to place students.  Internships have proven to be a terrific way for students to learn more about the field they are interested in and great for companies to get enthusiastic extra help for a special project or just a heavy workload.

Clark Fund Committee
The Clark Fund Committee works with the Clark Fund Office to help engage alumni in advancing the programs of the Clark Fund through the annual giving program. Particular attention is paid to working with alumni volunteers in the Class Agent and Reunion Challenge programs, and to assist Clark Fund staff and volunteers with developing strategies to increase participation and giving levels.

Outstanding Secondary Educator Award Committee (OSEA)
This committee annually selects an Outstanding Secondary Educator. The outstanding educator is a secondary teacher who has best prepared a student for Clark and his/her future work. The award recipient is one who has contributed to the student's personal growth as well as the student's academic growth. The OSEA committee interviews Clark University seniors who have nominated a secondary teacher for this award and selects a winner from those nominations.

Regional Alumni Communities
Regional Alumni Communities organize alumni in numerous regions throughout the world to: (a.) serve as regional contacts for other alumni and students needing advice about a particular region: areas to live, professional contacts, places to socialize and network, etc. (b.) assist with regional events and receptions and (c.) market Clarkís name within a region as well as assist with Admissions.

Reunion Committee
Be part of the planning, programming, and enthusiasm for your next reunion. Reunion Committee members meet occasionally and discuss ideas for their 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, and 50-Year Association Reunion. The Alumni Association has begun a new initiative by recruiting and organizing reunions at least THREE YEARS in advance of your reunion. As a Reunion Committee member you would have the opportunity to brainstorm about what kind of entertainment you would like to see, what professors you would like to invite to your banquet, and how you can recruit your classmates to return to campus.

Student Outreach Committee
The Student Outreach Committee works with the Alumni Affairs Office, Student Alumni Relations Committee, Alumni Admissions Office and the Dean of Students Office to coordinate the efforts of alumni volunteers who assist in encouraging the interaction between undergraduate students and their families with alumni.
