Statement
I am honored to have the opportunity to seek your support as a candidate for Trustee at Clark University. Over the past many years I have had the privilege and opportunity to observe the tremendous work that Clark University does in educating and preparing young men and women for promising and prominent careers and roles in society. Clark University continues to make a significant difference within the greater Worcester community and throughout the nation; an effort I would be proud and honored to be associated with.
For the past 26 years I have worked at Atlas Distributing, Inc., a beer and beverage distribution company servicing customers throughout the central Massachusetts market. My career at Atlas began in 1982 as a sales representative and over the years my responsibilities have grown within the company; currently I serve as president and owner of the 130-employee organization.
As a business leader I am committed to improving the well being of our community. My work has included leadership positions on both corporate and not-for-profit boards such as the United Way, Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Saint John's High School, Nichols College, Flagship Bank and Saint Vincent Hospital. I believe I am aptly experienced in both community and business endeavors to make a difference as a Clark University Trustee.
As a graduate of Clark University's Graduate School of Business and member of the Advisory Council, I assure you, as a Trustee I will work hand-in-hand with you and all stakeholders at shaping and fulfilling Clark University's mission. Thank you for your consideration and support.
