Carl Julius and Anna (Kranz) Carlson Chair in Chemistry
Established in 1979 by Gustaf H. Carlson A.B. '26, this fund provides part or all of the salary for an outstanding professor in the field of chemistry. Any remaining income may be used for special purposes by the occupant of the chair for library purchases, resource materials, travel and other expenses.  
John T. Croteau M.A. '32, Ph.D. '35 Endowed Chair in Economics
This chair was established in 2000 by John T. Croteau M.A. '32, Ph.D. '35 to provide salary support for an outstanding professor in the field of economic studies.
Allen M. Glick Chair in Judaic and Biblical Studies
In 1996, Allen M. Glick '63 established this fund to provide salary support for a professor of Judaic and Biblical studies. Any remaining income in a year may be used by the occupant of the chair for expenses related to her/his research and teaching.  
Jacob and Frances I. Hiatt Professorship in History
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob A.M. '46 Hiatt established this fund in 1970 to provide part or all of the salary and related expenses for an outstanding professor in the field of history. Any remaining income in a given year may be used by the occupant of the chair for such items as special library purchases, research materials, travel and other such expenses.  
Milton and Alice Higgins Chair in Environment and Society
This chair was established in 1996 by Milton and Alice Higgins to provide salary support for an outstanding professor in the field of environmental geography or environmental studies.
George N. and Selma U. Jeppson Professorship in Music
Established in 1970 by the Jeppson family, this fund provides part or all of the salary for an outstanding professor in the field of music. Any remaining income may be used for special purposes by the occupant of the chair for library purchases, resource materials, travel and other expenses.  
Andrea B. and Peter D. Klein '64 Distinguished Professorship
In 1999, Peter D. Klein, Class of 1964, and his wife Andrea endowed this fund to recognize, reward, honor and encourage distinguished scholarship, teaching and service by supporting an endowed chair which would rotate among tenured faculty, across the various disciplines and be held by each recipient for a four-year term.  
George F. Kneller Chair in Philosophy
Established by George F. Kneller, Class of 1929, this fund provides part or all of the salary for an outstanding professor in the Philosophy Department.
Leo L. and Joan Kraft Laskoff Professorship in Economics, Technology and Environment
This professorship was established in 1997 by Joan Kraft Laskoff and the late Leo L. Laskoff, Class of 1936, to the support of a professor and program concerned directly with economic change, technological innovation and environment sustainability.

Michael and Lisa Leffell Professorship in History
Michael J. Leffell, Class of 1981, and his wife Lisa Klein Leffell, Class of 1982 established this fund to support the scholarship, teaching and research of the Leffell Endowed Professorship in History. The purpose of the Professorship will be to enhance a strong program in History at Clark University that includes a doctoral program, a large undergraduate major, a significant role in the University’s international and intercultural programming, and a distinguished tradition.  It is also intended to enhance the program in Jewish Studies around the Allen M. Glick Chair.

Henry J. Leir Endowed Chair in Foreign Languages and Cultures
In 2007 The Ridgefield Foundation established this fund to provide salary support for an outstanding professor in the field of foreign languages and literatures. The professor’s primary responsibilities will be: to develop a set of courses focused on language and national identities and cultures; to energize outreach to other departments and programs at Clark and at other universities in the United States and abroad; and to draw attention to Clark’s international emphases by organizing international conferences, symposia, and joint research programs.

Dr. Mary Despina Lekas M.D., D.Sc. Endowed Chair in Biology
This fund was established in 2003 by Mary Despina Lekas, Class of 1949, and her husband Harold W. Picozzi to support the scholarship, teaching and research of the holder of the Lekas Endowed Chair.  

Warren Litsky Endowed Chair in Biology
Established in 2007 by Warren Litsky, this fund supplements the salary of the incumbent professor selected for the Warren Litsky Endowed Chair in Biology and provides additional support for the incumbent professor’s research and other scholastic activities by defraying the cost of additional equipment, research assistance, scholarships, travel, similar expenses and other support approved by the selection committee.

Robert Aram & Marianne Kaloosdian and Stephen & Marian Mugar Endowed Chair of Armenian Genocide Studies
Carolyn Mugar and John O'Connor, Class of 1978, established this fund in 2001 to provide all or part of the salary of an outstanding professor in the field of Armenian Genocide studies and modern Armenian history. Any remaining income in a given year may be used by the occupant of the professorship for such items as public lectures, seminars, library purchases, resource materials, travel and other related expenses.  
Nestelbaum Faculty Fellowship Fund
Established in 1992 by Eli Nestelbaum, a friend of Clark University, this fund provides assistance to faculty members in the History Department to support scholarly and professional activity including such expenditures as travel, equipment, materials, release time, summer research and graduate student research assistants, among expenses.  
The Lloyd B. Politsch ’33 Chair in Pre-Law
Mrs. Paulette S. Politsch-Greenberger established this chair in memory and honor of Lloyd B. Politsch ’33 in 2006. This fund provides salary support for a professor in Pre-Law. Any remaining income in a given year may be used by the occupant of the Chair for expenses related to his/her research and teaching.
Rose Professorship in Holocaust Studies and Modern Jewish History and Culture
In 1996, Sidney and Ralph Rose established this fund to honor and memorialize their father, Phillip Rose, by providing all or part of the salary of an outstanding professor in the field of Holocaust history. Any remaining income in a given year may be used by the occupant of the professorship for such items as special library purchases, resource materials, travel and other expenses.  
Strassler Family Chair for the Study of Holocaust History
This fund was established in 1997 by David and Robert Strassler to provide salary support for an outstanding professor in Holocaust history. Any remaining income in a given year may be used by the occupant of the chair for expenses related to her/his research and teaching.  
Wright Memorial Fund
The Wright Memorial Fund was established in 1916 by alumni and friends of President Carroll D. Wright to form a chair in economics.
