Exit at Deerfield Road. Drive east through Deerfield into Highland Park, over
Route 41 overpass. Deerfield Road becomes Central Avenue. After crossing the Metra Train tracks you will be at a stop sign at the corner of Central Avenue and St. Johns Avenue. You will continue east 1/2 block and turn left onto Sheridan Road. Drive 1 and 1/2 block north on Sheridan Road. Turn right into alley just beyond the white, former American Legion Building. The Highland Park Community House is on the left. The parking lot is on the east side of the building.
From Southbound 294:
Exit at Route 22 and turn left.Continue until Route 22 ends at Green Bay Road . Turn right onto Green Bay Road. Turn left at second stop light (Vine Avenue). Go 2 blocks to Sheridan Road and turn right. Go one long block and the Community House is on your left on the corner of Sheridan and Elm. Turn left into the alley just south of the Community House. The parking lot is on the east side of the building.

Take Rte 2 to Route 202 (exit 16). Take 202 South through New Salem to a blinking light in Pelham. This is the intersection of Rte 202 and Amherst Rd. Take a right. Immediately after Pelham Elementary school , turn left onto South Valley Road and then left into the second parking lot entrance. Park in the upper lot, lower lot, or along South Valley Road .
From Route 91
Northbound I-91 - Take Exit 19 and take a right onto Route 9 east.
Southbound I-91 - Take exit 20 and follow signs for Route 9 to Hadley/Amherst.
Follow Route 9 east. Route 116 briefly joins Route 9 in Hadley. Keep following Route 9 into Amherst . Where Route 116 turns to the right at a 4-way traffic light in Amherst center, take a left onto North Pleasant Street . Take a right at the next light onto Main Street . Follow Main Street , which becomes Pelham Road , into Pelham, where it becomes Amherst Road . The Pelham Library will be on the right about ½ mile past the town line. Turn right onto South Valley Road and then left into the second parking lot entrance. Park in the upper lot, lower lot, or along South Valley Road .

From the North: I-95 to Exit 130 (Formerly Exit 34). At Exit 130, proceed southeast 1.6 miles through three traffic lights on Main Street (Route 104) toward the Waterville town center. From Rt. 128:
Take Rt. 2 west exit, toward Acton. At the 2 nd traffic light, Rt. 2 turns left (there is a gas station at the intersection, almost all cars will go left and you should too). At the 4 th traffic light after Rt. 2 turns left, make a left onto Rt. 62 West, and follow directions below.
From Route 2 in Concord:
Take Route 62 West towards WEST CONCORD. At the traffic light in the center of West Concord follow Route 62 West by taking the left fork at the 99 Restaurant.
Continue on 62 West (approximately one mile or so) to Brook Trail Road and the entrance to Thoreau Hills. Brook Trail is a very wide opening street with a median strip with trees in the center. There is a small retaining wall saying “Thoreau Hills.” There is no street on the right. (Note: if you come to a small strip mall with Papa Gino's, Stop & Shop, Dunkin' Donuts, etc. you've gone too far.) Follow Brook Trail Road to its end (about 3 blocks, there's a stop sign at the end). Turn right onto Hayward Mill Road. Take an immediate left onto Hillcrest Road . Our house is the third on the left (a gray colonial, #53, we have tropical fish painted on the mailbox).
