Klein Transfer Scholarship
The Andrea B. and Peter D. Klein Transfer Scholarship allows transfer students to take advantage of the opportunities Clark University provides for a transformative liberal arts education in a research university setting. The scholarship is awarded to a transfer student with demonstrated financial need and a record of academic accomplishment and engagement inside and outside of the classroom. Transfer students are automatically considered for the scholarship and no separate application is required.
Students Transferring from a Two-Year School
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Clark may award up to ten $8,000 merit-based scholarships to students transferring to Clark from two-year colleges. Candidates must be members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society with a minimum 3.5 grade point average. Candidates must also be transferring to Clark with a minimum of 45 credits, and must have submitted their completed application and all supporting credentials by the application deadline.
Phi Theta Kappa All-USA Academic Scholarship
Clark may award up to four $15,000 merit-based scholarships to students transferring to Clark from two-year colleges who have been nominated to the Phi Theta Kappa/All-USA Academic Team. Candidates must have a minimum 3.7 cumulative grade point average and transfer to Clark with an associate's degree or a minimum 60 credits. Candidates must have submitted their completed application and all supporting credentials by the application deadline.
For both Phi Theta Kappa awards, the scholarship committee will give special consideration to the strength of the applicant's curriculum, their recommendations, personal qualities and demonstrated leadership skills, and extracurricular involvement in school or community activities. Students who are eligible for need-based aid may receive additional funds. No separate scholarship application is necessary; all applicants who meet the criteria will be given due consideration.
Students Transferring from a Four-Year School
Transfer Achievement Scholarship
The Transfer Achievement Scholarship is a competitive, merit-based scholarship available to students transferring to Clark from other four-year institutions, either during or at the conclusion of their first year. The award will be $9,000 per year.
Candidates will have:
- graduated from high school with a minimum 3.5 GPA or ranked in the top 15% of their class in a solid high school curriculum
- scored 1200 or greater on the SAT (or ACT equivalent)
- submitted their application with all supporting credentials by the application deadline

Accelerated Degree Program Eligibility
Transfer students are also eligible to participate in the BA/MA accelerated degree program at Clark. Transfer students are eligible for a 50 percent tuition reduction for the fifth year of study provided they begin full-time study at Clark no later than the end of their sophomore year; earn at least a 3.25 grade point average for courses taken at Clark; maintain a 3.25 grade point average during their fourth year; and meet program course requirements.
