Academic Life

Technology at Clark

Technology will play a large part in your every day academic life at Clark. For example, you will:

  • Register for classes and check grades online.
  • Use your Clark e-mail account to communicate with faculty and other students.
  • Save your papers and presentations in network-based file storage.
  • Access Web-based course material.
  • Read electronic reserves hosted by the Goddard Library.

The Clark Network - Wired and Wireless

All residence hall rooms have wired ClarkNet access, which requires an Ethernet cable. Students also have the option of upgrading to a Charter Broadband connection in their rooms to get even faster Internet access. The high-speed wireless network, Clark WiFi, is also available from MANY public areas across campus.

Computer to Campus

Clark recommends that students have their own computer equipment to support their academic work. Our Information Technology Services Office (ITS) offers advice and support services for choosing and maintaining student personal computers. ITS also runs a Help Desk until 10 p.m. on weekdays.
